5 Free GitHub Repos That Get You Paid, With Prices and Offers

Resources

If you sell AI services, you don't have to build every one from scratch. These five free GitHub repos get you paid: four you sell, and one that wins the deal.

Harvey runs a local business's cold-email outbound. Claude SEO becomes a paid SEO audit. MiniCPM-OCR digitises an accountant's paperwork. Floorplan becomes an app check-up for founders who built with AI. And stack-diagram draws the plan that goes in your proposal.

Each paid one comes with who buys it and a suggested price. They're starting rates for your own market, not FreshStack's prices or numbers from a real client.

The links are above. The setup lines and four offers you can send a client are below.

What can an AI agency sell with each repo?

Harvey: cold-email outbound for a local business

Harvey is an open-source sales agent with over 4,000 stars on GitHub. It finds businesses, reads each one's website, writes a cold email that mentions something specific about them, and drafts the replies toward a booked meeting. By default every email waits in its Outbox until you approve it.

You run a local business's outbound for them. Suggested price: $1,500 setup plus $500 a month.

There's no model API bill, because Harvey runs on your Claude Pro or Max plan, or a ChatGPT plan through Codex. That covers the model calls only. Your client still needs a sending mailbox on a separate domain (about $7 a month on Google Workspace) and a warmup service, and a new mailbox needs 2 to 4 weeks of warmup before real volume.

Two checks before you take it on. Cold-email rules differ by country, and some recipients need to have given consent first (Harvey's README names Germany and UK sole traders), so check the rules where your client's prospects are. And check your Claude or ChatGPT plan's terms before you run it for a client. Use the client's own plan where you can.

Claude SEO: a paid SEO audit for a local business

Claude SEO is a free SEO audit plugin for Claude Code, MIT licensed, with over 26,000 stars. Give it a website and it runs a full audit in 10 to 15 minutes: technical SEO, content, structured data, local SEO, and how likely Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity are to cite the site.

You get one action plan sorted by what matters most, and each fix says how you'll know it worked. You sell a local business the audit and walk them through the plan. Suggested price: $750 one-off.

MiniCPM-OCR: paperwork into data for an accountant

MiniCPM-OCR is a family of open models, Apache-2.0 licensed, that turns scans and phone photos of documents into text and tables. Its companion model, MiniCPM-OCR Jev, scores how reliable each part of the result is, so a wrong number gets checked before it hits the books.

You digitise an accounting firm's client paperwork. Suggested price: $1,200 setup plus $200 a month.

It reads English and Chinese documents only, so it's not one for Arabic invoices. The local setup is technical, so try the free online demo on a few real invoices first.

Floorplan: an app check-up for founders who built with AI

Floorplan is a free plugin for Claude Code or Codex, MIT licensed, with over 2,300 stars. It reads an app's code and draws a zoomable map of it in plain English, then runs a health check for the classic mistakes in AI-built apps: keys left in the code, Supabase tables anyone can read, open Firebase rules, Stripe webhooks anyone could fake, and endpoints with no sign-in.

You sell a founder who vibe-coded their app a check-up, so they see how it fits together without reading a line of code. Suggested price: $500 one-off.

You'll need access to their code to run it. Floorplan calls its health check "a check, not an audit", so don't sell it as a full security audit.

stack-diagram: the one that wins the deal

stack-diagram is a free skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents, MIT licensed, with 1,400 stars. Describe a stack in one sentence and it draws an architecture diagram with official logos, as one HTML file, a PNG or a React component.

You don't sell this one. You drop a diagram of what you'll build into your proposal, so the client sees what they're buying before they sign.

How do you set up each repo?

1. Harvey

What you need: Python 3.11 or newer, Claude Code signed in to a Claude Pro or Max plan (or a ChatGPT plan with Codex), a sending mailbox on a separate domain, and a warmup service.

git clone https://github.com/ethanplusai/harvey.git
cd harvey
claude

Then say "set up Harvey for me". The repo turns Claude Code into a setup wizard that installs what's missing and asks what it needs. To teach Harvey what your client sells, train it on their website:

harvey train https://your-client.com

2. Claude SEO

Run these inside Claude Code (version 1.0.33 or newer):

/plugin marketplace add AgriciDaniel/claude-seo
/plugin install claude-seo@agricidaniel-claude-seo
/seo setup

Then run your first audit:

/seo audit https://example.com

3. MiniCPM-OCR

Nothing to install for a first look. Open the free online demo and upload a few real invoices or receipts.

When you're ready to run it yourself, send this to your coding agent and it sets up the environment, downloads the models and parses your first document:

Read and execute https://github.com/OpenBMB/MiniCPM-OCR/blob/main/docs/SKILL_en.md

4. Floorplan

You need Node.js 18 or newer.

claude plugin marketplace add haydenschmitty/floorplan
claude plugin install floorplan@floorplan

Start a new session in the app's project folder and ask:

Make me a floorplan of this app.

5. stack-diagram

You need Python 3.9 or newer.

npx skills add caru-ini/stack-diagram

Then describe the build in a sentence, like this example from its README:

Diagram our stack: Next.js and a Hono API on Vercel. Postgres on Neon, auth with Clerk, payments with Stripe. GitHub Actions deploys.

What offer can you send a client?

Here's one offer per paid service, each ready to copy into an email or DM. Fill in the brackets, and attach a stack-diagram of what you'll build so the client sees the plan before they reply.

Harvey: outbound email for a local business

$1,500 setup plus $500 a month.

Hi [Name], I'd like to set up outbound email for [Company]. I'll run a sales agent that finds [the kind of business you sell to] in [area], reads each one's website, and writes a short email that mentions something specific about them, then drafts the replies and works each conversation toward a booked call. Nothing goes out without my sign-off, every email carries an opt-out, and it all sends from a separate domain, so your main email address stays safe. The first two to four weeks go on warming up that new mailbox, so the emails land in inboxes and not spam. It's $1,500 to set up and $500 a month to run, plus the mailbox and warm-up tools, which I'll price up front, and each month you get a short report on who replied and which calls were booked. Want me to send over the first 10 businesses it would contact?

Claude SEO: an SEO audit for a local business

$750 one-off.

Hi [Name], I'd like to run a full SEO audit on [website]. It covers what Google looks at: whether your pages can be found and indexed, page speed on phones, your Google Business Profile and reviews, and the structured data behind rich results. It also checks how likely ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers are to mention you when someone nearby searches for a [dentist]. You get one fix list ranked by what matters most, each fix with a way to check it worked, and I'll take you through it on a 20-minute call. It's $750, one-off. If it helps, I can send you the top three issues first, free.

MiniCPM-OCR: paperwork into data for an accounting firm

$1,200 setup plus $200 a month.

Hi [Name], I can take the typing out of your clients' paperwork. Invoices, receipts and statements, scanned or just photographed on a phone, come back as clean tables ready for [Xero / your accounting software], and every document gets a reliability score, so your team only checks the ones it flags instead of re-typing the lot. It works on English-language documents. It's $1,200 to set up around the way your files come in and $200 a month to run. Send me 20 real documents and I'll show you the output before you decide.

Floorplan: an app check-up for a founder who built with AI

$500 one-off.

Hi [Name], if you built [App] with AI tools, I can give it a check-up before a problem finds you. You get an interactive map of how the app fits together, in plain English, so you can see what talks to what without reading the code. You also get a health check for the holes AI-built apps tend to have: secret keys left in the code, database tables anyone can read, payment webhooks that can be faked, and endpoints open to anyone. I'll take you through what each finding means and what to fix first. It's $500, one-off, delivered within [3 days]. Shall I start on [App] this week?
