Here are five things to build with Claude this weekend, with no code: a life dashboard that briefs you at 7am, a second brain that answers from your own documents, an executive assistant that checks in morning and evening, a content agent that writes in your voice, and an AI workforce that splits up a pile of jobs.
Each runs on a Claude feature: connectors read your Gmail and Google Calendar, Projects hold your files, and scheduled tasks run on a timer.
The second brain and the content drafts work on the free plan. The scheduled builds need Pro or above, and the AI workforce is a beta reaching Pro and Max users in stages.
Below is the cheat sheet for all five, with every prompt.
What can you build in Claude this weekend?
Five things to build in Claude, no code. The plan each one needs is under its name.
Life dashboard: your day, ready before your coffee
Your meetings, the emails that need you and what's due today, in one briefing before your coffee. Claude reads your Gmail, Google Calendar and to-do app through connectors, which are on every plan, including free, and a scheduled task runs the briefing every weekday morning.
Plan: the scheduled briefing needs Pro. On Free, paste the prompt each morning.
- In Claude's settings, open Connectors and connect Gmail and Google Calendar. Add your to-do app too if it's in the directory.
- In any chat, paste the prompt below and add "every weekday at 7am". Claude asks a couple of questions, shows you the task, and you click Schedule. (Or open Scheduled in the sidebar, then New task.)
Check my Google Calendar for today, my Gmail for anything that needs a reply from me, and my tasks due today. Give me a one-screen briefing: my meetings with times and who's in them, the three emails that need me first with one line on each, and what's due. Flag anything that clashes.
It runs in the cloud, so it works with your laptop closed. The results wait under Scheduled in the sidebar. If your message box still shows Chat and Cowork options, use the second route, in Cowork.
Second brain: ask your own documents instead of digging
A Project that holds your lease, insurance policies, contracts and notes. You just ask when your car insurance renews, instead of digging through PDFs and emails, and the instructions below make Claude quote the line it used.
Plan: works on Free, up to 5 Projects.
- Create a Project called Life admin.
- Add your files to the project's knowledge: lease, insurance policies, contracts, warranties, notes. Black out ID numbers and bank details first.
- Paste this into the project's instructions:
Answer only from the files in this project. Say which document you used and quote the line. If the answer isn't in the files, say so instead of guessing.
- Then just ask:
When does my car insurance renew, and what's the excess?
How much notice do I have to give on my lease?
Which of my contracts renew automatically in the next three months?
Executive assistant: a check-in every morning, evening and Friday
Three scheduled tasks that keep you on track: a morning brief on what matters most today, an evening check-in on what you actually got done, and a Friday roll-up of what to fix next week.
Plan: needs Pro, for three scheduled tasks.
Set each one up like the life dashboard's briefing. Replace [my goals] with yours.
Every weekday at 7am:
Look at my calendar and tasks for today and my goals for this week: [my goals]. Give me the three things that matter most today and the first one to start with.
Every weekday at 6pm:
Look at today's calendar, my sent emails and my completed tasks. What did I get done, what slipped, and am I on track for this week's goals: [my goals]? Three lines, then the first thing to do tomorrow.
Every Friday at 4pm:
Look back at this week's calendar, sent emails and completed tasks against my goals: [my goals]. What went well, what kept slipping, and the one change to make next week.
Content agent: posts and newsletters that sound like you
A Project that knows your brand guide and your ideal customer, so the posts and newsletters it drafts sound like you. Give it last week's numbers and it tells you what worked and what to make next.
Plan: drafting works on Free. A weekly run needs Pro.
- Create a Project called Content. Add your brand guide (or five posts you're proud of) and one page describing your ideal customer: who they are, what they want, what they're tired of.
- Paste this into the project's instructions:
You write for my brand. Match the voice in my brand guide and example posts, and write for the customer described in my ideal-customer page. Keep it plain and specific, no hype words. Ask me one question if the brief is unclear.
- Use it:
Turn this idea into an Instagram caption, a LinkedIn post and a short newsletter section: [your idea].
Here are last week's numbers for my posts: [paste them]. What worked, what didn't, and give me five ideas for next week.
On Pro, schedule the second prompt every Monday morning. Claude doesn't watch your social accounts by itself, so paste the numbers in, or connect an analytics tool if it's in the connector directory.
AI workforce: one chat that hands out the work
One chat acts as your chief of staff: you hand it a pile of jobs, it splits them across threads that run at the same time, and it brings the finished work back. It's Anthropic's redesigned Projects, in beta for some Pro and Max users and starting in Claude Code.
Plan: the new Projects, in beta on Pro and Max.
- If you have the new Projects, start one from Projects in the sidebar at claude.ai/code (or the Code tab of the Claude desktop app), give it your goal and your documents, then brief the coordinator:
You're my chief of staff. Split these jobs across separate threads, run them at the same time, and bring me the finished pieces in one place: 1) research three competitors' prices, 2) draft this week's newsletter, 3) write five social posts from it.
- Don't have it yet? Join the waitlist at claude.com/form/projects. Meanwhile, give the same brief to one chat and it works through the jobs one after another.
